Try Trump at the Ballot Box, Not in Court

Trials are too uncertain to risk the republic.

I am on the fence about this one.

@mbkriegh I resent the double standard because I was severely chastised as a custodian of compartmentalized info when I worked in the Pentagon. But I know people in high places enjoy special treatment.

@topgold I get sick at the thought of 45 never being held accountable. His power to reek havoc is what protects him at the moment. Personally, I think the nail-him-at-the-ballot-box strategy is equally risky and less definitive. Maybe we just have to face up to civil war.

@mbkriegh I have 22 first cousins. I cannot join four of them during Thanksgiving dinner because of their corrupted Deep Red philosophies. I've voted Republican more often than they have. Our past President has severed family ties in my case.

@mbkriegh Right now, I'm more uncertain about the ballot box. Schools would never have been desegregated if it were left up to the ballot box. Some things are just criminally or morally wrong.

@pratik my sense is we are in for the civil war, whatever form it takes, regardless so maybe we should just get it over with. I mean, why won’t there be one if he looses the election?
