@joshua this raises a few interesting questions… is it that we can never know more than 1% of what we are?… or is it that nobody but ourselves can even know more than 1% of who/what we are?… if the former is true, the latter is certainly true… can the latter be true by itself?… but then also, BF speaks to the conscious knowing of oneself… an organism, human beings included, certainly know how to be the organisims they are… so, could it be that too much emphasis is placed on the conscious mind?, which many neuroscientists view as having a dim grasp on what we are doing and why?… a lot to unpack here… thanks for posting!
