When you engage with your LLM of choice, do you say ‘good morning’, ‘thankyou’, ‘please’ … all that nicety stuff?
Bonus question .. regardless of your answer have you tried doing it the other way?
Do the results seem better or worse?
@JohnPhilpin I find myself being polite—please, thank you, that sort of thing. I have no idea why, though. I do find it strange to see others interacting with LLMs. I find that I am pretty verbose when asking questions. I think it’s a good thing, though, and I will stick with the niceties and verbose prompts.
@matthewlang we’re in the same boat … I’m English after all .. verbose is my middle name .. and I apologize when someone bumps into me.
