Given the increasing use of portrait mode as dictated by mobile phone screens, I’m curious if I’ll ever get to the point in my web development career where I’ll have my desktop screens in portrait mode.
@patrickrhone I've seen setups using portrait screens before, but it tends to work best when you screen isn't on the wider side. A 32" might be a bit too tall when flipped.
@matthewlang I've seen various desk setups with a vertical screen for the IDE - looks horrible ergonomically.
@leeperry I would guess you need to get the screen size right. My current 24" monitors are probably too wide to be flipped to vertical, but I think with the right screen size it could work.
