We have a democracy so we can change our government peacefully, and that's what we should do. And then we should improve our democracy to make it permanent and indelible.
Other countries have to resort to violence, because there is no other way to change the government. Although the current government is doing its best to change us into Russia, that is not the US--yet.

I think I realised this while still living in the USA when I watched Michael Moore’s “Sicko.” The Detroit River separates the USA from Canada (Detroit on one side, Windsor on the other), but the ignorance of the health care system of people on the USA side might as well be an ocean. I think the crackdowns on the internet, under the guise of safety and protecting children, are just a ruse to get people to go back to sleep.
