Extremely sad to hear the news out of England. Hard to imagine the cradle of English Christianity being out of communion with her children. — The post-Christendom world is different, but our hope is still in Christ.
@marmanold You sent me scurrying to search "Church of England news", but all I saw was an orthodox position on church marriages. Am I missing something?
@ReaderJohn The bishops have annouced that they are supporting blessing same-sex marriages. Though not technically allowing same-sex marriage, I see it as a distinction without much difference. The communion is hanging by a thread and I imagine this will be the decision that finally breaks it. Extremely sad.
