The new Kindle looks very nice. Tempted to get one because my current Kindle Paperwhite got dented. But now there’s the choice of plastic or aluminum! I feel like lighter is better.

@manton I have been trying to go back to paper books, but I have to say my reading has really gone down since moving away from my Kindle. We’ll see how it goes after I retire in the first quarter of next year, but as of right now it’s a failed experiment.

@manton A new Kindle in aluminum with an optional case that sports physical page buttons? Instant pre-order for me. I can finally retire nine-year-old Kindle Oasis that barely holds a charge. Thanks for alerting me to this!

@bloftin2 I love the idea of paper books but it’s hard for me to say they’re better than a Kindle. Kindle is small, lightweight, easy to read, and can hold a hell of a lot of books. Still prefer it for practical reasons.
