i guess it’s all how you spin. McDonald’s says their AI-based drive-thru ordering system is 90%+ accurate. Or, in less optimistic terms, has a potential 10% failure rate. Doesn’t sound too good to my ears. 1 in 10 orders could possibly be screwed up? I’m sure that would go over well with employees.

@jasonkratz Humans make mistakes too, but I think to switch over to AI it should be closer to 99% accurate, since you lose the human connection. Very small sample size of exactly one drive-thru, my experience was mixed. There was a mistake in the order too, which the human at the window fixed.

@manton @jasonkratz My brother was wondering aloud the other day why we keep ordering from Mod Pizza, since they get something in our order wrong nearly every time. No AI needed.
