Flipping through news channels over breakfast like I usually do, the Today Show actually had a pretty good segment on AI technology to help with air traffic control. Good balance of facts and humor. I think that’s largely going to be the mainstream response: “Interesting. And yet life goes on.”

@manton Maybe a surprising take from me but, as long as humans are in charge and AI remains in a helping mode, I think this is an excellent use for the technology. (As usual, the term “AI” is being stretched to encompass so much that it’s meaningless. Not likely any LLMs involved in this use case.)
