It’s silly how excited I am to see the 40th anniversary release of Transformers: The Movie tonight. Feels like I’m 11 years old again. Also hope my wife enjoys it at least for the 1980s music!
@manton My therapist and I are just now getting over the grief from the original release. I think I need to pass.
... though the soundtrack still owns.
@MrRooni Haha. Unfortunately no. 🙂 I actually just got around to finally watching his Transformers movie last week, for completeness since this re-release was coming out.
@manton I remember when my wife and I saw a certain other Transformers movie in theaters, where Optimus was killed. She turned to me in her seat and asked, “are they allowed to do that”? I just said to her, “it’s been done before”… 😅
@KimberlyHirsh That makes me wonder if they were able to update the soundtrack to sound great in new movie theaters…
@manton it held up so well. My wife and friends even enjoyed it and they don't have the nostalgia we do.
