Added a new page in Micro.blog on the web today to highlight The New York Times best sellers. We usually avoid popularity contests, but this one feels right, like a shelf you’d see in a bookstore. I want to add more collections later, like nominees for the Booker Prize, Hugo Awards, and others.

@manton Nice feature… If you want to add some more interesting lists you could use something like Standard eBooks collections:

• BBC’s 100 Greatest British Novels (2015)
• Crime Writers’ Association Top 100 Crime Novels of All Time
• Encyclopædia Britannica’s Gateway to the Great Books

There’s about ten more of these lists in their collections. All with RSS feeds which should make them easy to add.

(And then maybe you can consider dropping the ISBN requirements for bookshelves… Many PD books don’t have ISBNs, like from Standard Ebooks, Project Gutenberg, etc.)
