One of my main struggles with using Micro.blog (iOS or macOS apps) is that sometimes I hit publish, refresh the app a moment later, and my post isn’t there. It makes me think something is wrong instead of the small dopamine of “there’s my words!”

@iChris I’m sorry, this really is one of the most long-standing frustrations with the Micro.blog architecture. For some posts, it’ll show up on the timeline immediately, and for others it gets stuck in the queue. Will keep working on it!

@manton I sometimes forget you read these. :) Sorry for any implication that you weren’t trying hard to not make that the case. It’s more being spoiled by massive infrastructure / servers at a co. like Twitter or Threads that have ruined it. I need to remember what dial-up was like. 😆
