I thought it was a dead pixel, but there’s actually a tiny chip in the glass of my MacBook Pro screen. Annoying in the nitpicky, small life problems kind of way. Really want to keep this machine another couple years.

@manton Never good to raise one’s voice at valuable contract clients but I’ve definitely had to shriek in terror when they point things out on my screen with ballpoint pen in hand 😂

@manton screens are repairable. With Apple Care probably about $99. Totally understand the stress/hassle of having to temporarily part with a machine as an independent software developer etc.

@manton I wonder if you could use one of those windshield rock chip repair kits on it. They fill the void with epoxy. You could always replace the screen entirely if it doesn’t work.
