Holy moly. A maxed out Mac Studio is $18k. If you wanted a nice Mac with lots of RAM, you missed the window. 💰

@manton I bought a Beelink mini PC for my daughter in June of last year. $499 at the time. Same specs are $939 now so that pricing doesn’t surprise me. Totally nuts.

@manton If you run AI models locally, that could be worth it. 256GB of RAM can hold a very large model.

Intrigued by the M6 changes, but at these wild prices I want to see what the M7 fuss will be about.
