Looking over the specs for the new Mac mini and Mac Studio. Not sure the Mac mini is a good box to put in the corner of your house running AI anymore. $900 base price. Would’ve been cool to have a stripped down MacBook Neo as a low-cost mini. I pay $14/month right now for my little OpenClaw server.

@manton Apologies if I’ve missed the post, but where/how do you host your OpenClaw server?

@adoran2 I don’t think I’ve blogged about the details. It’s on a small 4 GB RAM server at Hetzner. Works fine for the simple tinkering I do with it. I also have it wired up to Codex as a frontend, which I do need to post about.

@manton Where are you running that server at?

@cameronbanga.com Hetzner. Only 4 GB RAM, just something to play with, but it works.

@manton Do you find it limiting? I feel like I’d want to use mine for iOS dev so may as well have to get a Mini or some sort of Mac.

@cameronbanga.com It is pretty limiting. I’m fine keeping Mac development on my Mac, but I wouldn’t mind Messages access as another way to chat with it.
