I would use OpenClaw more if the chat interface was built directly into Codex. My little bot mostly goes unused because it’s so disconnected from other workflows. I’ve thought about hacking around this… No elegant solutions.

@manton Isn’t pi.dev essentially a coding agent built on top of the OpenClaw core? I have started using it a lot besides Claude Code and it supports Codex accounts and models out of the box (but not Anthropic ones because Anthropic doesn’t allow it)
Bonus: You can mix in models from Ollama, OpenCode Go etc
@voxpelli.com That’s cool. To be clear, what I want is access to other agents inside the Codex for Mac app. I don’t use the terminal much anymore, otherwise it would be fine.
@manton Codex for Mac should support adding local MCP servers? That could maybe bridge the two?
@voxpelli.com Yes, it should support MCP. I think it would just require phrasing chats like “Tell OpenClaw to…”
@manton If you make a skill that explains when to use openclaw / the mcp then it should start to apply that without you being as specific
