Planning a major expansion to how AT Proto works in Micro.blog. Just as every account gets a fediverse handle by default, I’d like to host a PDS for new users. People could keep it or bring their Bluesky-hosted account instead (which is how it already works).

@manton this would be great - perhaps add a migration tool for “old” accounts, too. :)

@manton Might want to check out @tranquil.farm - it’s the PDS I use for my account and just a couple others at the moment, but it’s very solid

@chaosgreml.in Thanks, I hadn’t looked at Tranquil closely yet. I think I want to stick with the reference PDS for now. Tranquil looks good, though.
