@manton I just learnt that the IMAX version of the Odyssey is sold out until September down here. People are flying in from other states to see it.
@manton I’ve read the original in Ionic Greek, long ago in high school. I’m sure a limited series would’ve been better than a three hour movie (I have yet to see). The poem by Homer is rather long, and clearly written to learn by heart, which is epic on its own.
@lmika There are clearly now way too few IMAX 70mm theaters. Only two in Texas, and the projector for one of them was down, disappointing a lot of people who drove in.
@manton It’s a ~7 hour drive to the one nearest to the Twin Cities. :( Would love to see a Nolan film on IMAX 70mm someday, though.
