ChatGPT’s update for Work and Codex puts the design in a precarious position. There is so much going on. If it was me, I would take a step back and think about how to keep a simple chat interface that scales well to Codex without immediately feeling overwhelming.

@manton yep, a weird chat window came out from corner, and I accidentally dismissed it. I’m not sure what it did 🤣

@manton Yep, clicking chat opened what I thought was the old modal chat window from the now Classic app, but it was contained in the window and no way to default to it being free. Bizarre.
