One of the minor disappointments with getting piled on a year ago is that I now tend to second-guess many of my blog posts. Will someone run with the worst interpretation, ready to repost without context? This leads to watering down drafts, sometimes editing them into vague pointlessness.

@manton I'm not a religious person, but I think even Jesus was subject of the worst interpretations.
Good thing is that you're alive to defend yourself and, maybe, rephrase some stuff.
And now you understand why he always talked in metaphors... :)

@manton I feel this deeply. In another life I poured out my life in words in a way that I hesitate to do today. I have not been in the same boat as you, but since those early days of blogging I have witnessed a lot of things that give me pause, not the least of which is the dog-piling and the doxing.

@manton At the same time? You can offer a hot, delicious pizza and some people will be offended. Those are not your people. And that’s okay. There are a lot of people here who believe in this project and who support your work. I think if there’s an opportunity to help those folks on their path, then your words are welcome.
