Finished reading: Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy. Unfolds with an interesting island setting and mystery. I liked it, but as the layers are pulled back, there is mostly grief. 📚
@danprovost I haven’t. It has a similar story structure? I need a break from heartache first and then will check it out… Was not expecting the ending of Wild Dark Shore.
@manton I haven't read Wild Dark Shore, it's on my to read list. But I always see it recommended alongside Broken Country, which I have read and thought was excellent. But definitely DO NOT read it if you need a break from grief, heartache, etc.
