Upcoming accessibility improvements from Apple sound good. A natural use of LLMs. From MacStories:

Rather than requiring a defined set of commands that need to be memorized to control a device, the feature will allow users to invoke actions with natural language, such as, “Tap the orange folder.”

@manton In general that would be a huge big first improvement for Siri in general. Parse natural speech input rather than everyone having to learn the correct secret words to say to trigger an action.

@birming Right, it has to actually be good. Apple’s on-device models are worse than OpenAI / Anthropic. I’ve noticed it in transcripts.
