Looking over EmDash. I don’t like that they call it “the spiritual successor to WordPress”. Isn’t the spirit of WordPress from Matt Mullenweg’s vision of the project? Matt is very much still involved. Feels wrong for Cloudflare to frame it that way.

They did put it on their blog. For me it was the name of it that made me think for a minute.
@vincent I think it’s real. And I guess I can’t gripe about the name because I created a product that has “dot” in the name.
@manton Interesting project. Will it change the world like Wordpress has done? That remains to be seen.
@manton well, it works only on cloudflare infra and cant be self hosted. so its barely a successor.

@manton Yeah. I thought that was odd. Read up on it and decided to spin an instance up for shites and giggles, and it throws errors on deployment. Whoops! That was enough for me. 🤣🤣🤣
