Anthropic has another funding round and highlights their growing revenue for Claude Code. Not surprised. Claude Code was first, people like it, and Opus 4.6 is really expensive. I think Codex 5.3 will continue to slowly peel developers away.

@manton I think for a lot of people it’s just going to come down to what your corporate IT provides at work. I find they’re all fungible enough with few maintainable leads so far, so I just use Codex as that’s what gets paid for. But I’d probably be fine with using Claude or Gemini.

@mackuba.eu My random guess is Claude Code is maybe 2x as popular as Codex? It was first and still has more mindshare. But Codex is really good now.
