@manton I like the idea of the emoji-driven discovery pages, but I don’t want to keep remembering to come back and see what is new. Is there a way to follow a specific emoji tag that interested me?
@dynamitemoth If you're using a feed reader that supports JSON Feed, there are feeds on Micro.blog for all the topics using URLs with the format /posts/discover/books.
@manton I don’t use a feed reader. I generally use either the Micro.blog iOS app or the Icro app. It would be great if these iOS apps had a way to show those topic posts in my timeline.
@dynamitemoth @manton What if there were a second, customizable Discover tab, showing only those “/posts/discover/x” feeds that a person chooses? — alongside the default quartet of Timeline, Mentions, Favorites, and the curated Discover.
@rnv That would work for me. I don’t have a strong opinion on the best way to present these posts, but I would like a way to see them more easily.
@dynamitemoth @manton @rnv I think having a custom ‘My Feeds’ list under the Discovery tab would be great. It would also offer an alternative to overload from following too many people. Folding those posts into main timeline could be a further option
