I’m so thrilled I came back to micro.blog there are just so many things that have improved this service. Right now I’m testing to see how well the publish to draft works from Obsidian and iA Writer. My preference would be to publish directly from markdown files, but you have to just create drafts (unless ... slf.blog

@slf Welcome back! People really like the Obsidian posting. I wonder if there’s interest in adding a “just publish without a draft” option to it.

@manton the draft part feels like an extra step to me, but I haven’t used it enough to speak intelligently on the subject. I mean just found the highlights feature on the bookmarks haha (fantastic!).

I really like working with MD files but I get there’s a difference between a VC Code environment and a blogging platform.

@slf Yeah, it’s definitely an extra step… I can’t speak for the developer of the plug-in, but I think the intention was to give people an opportunity to review the post before publishing.

@slf If you use the Micro.publish plugin for Obsidian you can choose to either publish a draft or a published post to Micro.blog. You can choose in a popup or make it a default choice.
