@slison You can use Categories → Edit Filters to assign a category to short or long posts automatically, but it is going to do that even if you _do_ set a category manually, so might not be exactly what you're looking for.

@manton is there any way with the Micro.blog app to setup a default category for any new posts? I find I frequently forget to choose a category and have to go back and edit a post to pick the category I generally post to on my blog by default for random thoughts like these 💭
