Great video on YouTube (via Matt Haughey) of old Pacific Electric Railway stations in Los Angeles. I would’ve loved to see some of these when they were active. 🚂

@manton in downtown Plano, there’s a place called the interurban museum. There’s an old electric rail car in front of it. It’s a museum about the old Texas electric railway, which ran from north of Dallas down through Dallas and all the way down to Waco. Somewhere down south of Dallas there was also an east west line. They called it the innerurban. Of course it existed back before the area north of Dallas was very well developed. So people could take the train down to downtown Dallas and shop or whatever. Here in Richardson where I live there’s still a street called interurban, which is right next to the old rail line which you can still see.
