iPhone announcement day. I do not need a new phone, but I am curious about the iPhone Air. Years ago, I switched to the iPhone 5C just for a change, and actually liked the color and plastic. But I can’t see giving up the best cameras now. 📱
@manton Right now, I’m still happy with my 15 PM. I have never felt a need to upgrade every year anyway. Haven’t we reached, or almost reached, the summit of what can be added to this pocket computer? Apple can make it faster, with longer battery life and more camera pixels, but what other show-stopping must-have additions are there?
@manton still rocking my 13PM, but considering upgrading to the 16PM when it drops in price. The titanium is a selling point for me, and it’s a shame that looks to be gone. With the Air though, it’s all going to be about the battery; it’ll sell millions, which will only make the complains louder.
@manton I’m expecting them to compare to the non-pro models, and be even vaguer around details. Supposedly it’s going to be smaller than the iPhone 13 in terms of mAh, so they’ll be half hour of battery optimisation talk.
@manton I’m going to finally upgrade from my 13 Pro as my family wants to change carriers anyway, but what I wanted was a new mini with the battery of even just my normal sized 13.
I guess I will try to hold the Air before judging, but can’t say something even bigger is appealing. Might just go for the regular 17 if I think I can do without the cameras of the Pro. At least it would be a decrease in weight.
