This multitrillion-dollar company was financially injured by a few YouTube videos showing the redesign of its operating system?
This lawsuit is clearly a threat to future leakers. Apple shouldn’t throw its weight around like this.
@jasonekratz I guess, but also this feels low stakes, like we’re mostly talking about the shape of buttons. Apple will probably only do damage to their brand by pursuing this.
@jasonekratz Yeah, that’s true. Long term I don’t think the extreme secrecy is healthy. We’re unlikely to get another event at the scale of the iPhone or other early Steve Jobs keynotes.
