Excited to see a new iOS app for Micro.blog released: Micro Social. From developer Greg Morris:
Micro.blog is an incredible platform, but I wanted a cleaner, more intuitive way to engage with my timeline, conversations, and the things I care about most—books, photos, and blogging.
@i3xCx You can generate a token for Micro Social on the web: click Account, scroll down to “App tokens”. Also I know Greg is working on an easier sign in for future versions.
@apoorplayer That reminds me I need to ship our latest Android mobile version. Maybe one day they’ll be another third-party app for Android. There was one called Dialog that isn’t maintained anymore, but someone could pick it up.
@manton I have an Android app for Micro.blog, but it’s not called Strata. It’s just called Micro.blog, and I can’t find Strata in the playstore. Are they the same?
@apoorplayer Nope, they are different! Micro.blog is the main official app for most features. Strata is our new app that is just for private notes and bookmarks. We wanted to do more with notes without cluttering the main app, so Strata allows us to do that. This link for Google Play should work.
@kimberlykg Noted, thanks! Won’t be long hopefully. A couple recent fixes were just for iPad but pretty sure there are some that apply to Android too.
