Saturday morning is a great time to draft a couple blog posts that won’t be published until later. I usually work a little every day, but the weekend should be quiet. Sometimes I wish I had the discipline to only announce new things on Tuesdays like Apple.

@manton Sparked a memory of when I used to run my magazine, I had to learn to develop a discipline similar to Apple/others. I could easily write so much & really overload the audience. Something about scheduling later for me to better focus topics or lines of thought. Editing the publishing windows got fun

@arjwright.com Totally, everyone is already overwhelmed with so much to read. Slowing down also usually makes me edit just a little more.

@manton @ajrwright.com What I especially detest is articles with unnecessary drama, to play on my empathy for a bit of engagement. Necessary when articles were still printed on dead trees, sold in stands on street corners and train stations. Nowadays, not so much, but journalism habits linger.
