Considering how often the notifications still fail for me (a few most days), it might be useful for me—though since I never look at the screen the app is on, it may still not help 😉

@manton The fact that there are no badges and notifications have to be silent is one of the design decisions that emphasises your philosophy/vision for Micro.blog and the differences from the attention-hog networks. I hope it’s technically possible for those to remain the default settings if you make them user-controllable 🤞
