Little known fact: Micro.blog has the best photo search of any blogging platform. Great to find one of your old photos to reference, or to remember if you blogged about something. If there’s anything even close to this good, let me know.
@manton I recently noticed Apple's Photos app work something like this on my iPad (iOS 17 because 2nd gen pro). I don't see tags, but it can see content, if not the themes represented by such content. Question: Is it safe to assume that AI-generated alt text does *not* override my own?
@markstoneman For your blog posts, your own alt text is always used. The AI-generated text is just there as an option to grab. For the photos search, it's a little different… Your own text isn't currently used but it probably should use both.
