We went to see Wicked a second time. Happy to confirm that it wasn’t my imagination: they did, in fact, nail the film adaptation. Great crowd in the theater tonight too. 🧹
@manton I saw it with my two grown-up daughters as a preview, and we loved it so much that, since then, we’ve been listening to the soundtrack over and over again before going to see it again for its official release in France on Wednesday December 04.

@manton Loved it! Only issue I had was that they dragged out defying gravity a bit too much - felt like it had 3 endings.
@manton Hoping we get to see it soon. We couldn’t get 3 seats together in anything other than what I call the “crummy row” directly in front of the screen at any showing in the last 4 days. Even 10am this morning.
@manton we are going to see it this afternoon, first time for film adaptation, been a few years since we saw the musical in Chicago—I got ready to leave at the intermission, my wife said there was still another half, hope the film is shorter
@zenwheel Actually the film is longer! But because you have to wait a year for part 2 instead of 15 minutes for intermission, I think it works.
@manton My adult son and I saw it yesterday at the early morning show so we could get decent seats. I’m going to see it again with friends soon too. Quite fun.
