Good feeling this morning, walking to get coffee and then fixing a couple bugs. Micro.blog does so much behind the scenes that is not obvious unless you have years of using the platform… Always something to smooth over, or expose more bits of info about what it’s doing.

@manton knowing enough about how static-site generators work what you have done with micro.blog blows me away. I always worried that the dependency on Jekyll (well, that one was bad 😊) then Hugo would be a problem, but you’ve made it bend like a reed in the wind. Nicely done! 👏

@manton speaking of things behind the scenes (😬) I discovered a potential timezone bug in Threads messages that might be a “fun” bug to look into over a nice cup of coffee. ☕️

@manton While not a public ecosystem, I run a medium sized business infrastructure full of backend scripts, web applications, and message queues. I so appreciate you bringing this platform to us. I use it everyday. And sometimes, it honestly acts as therapy! 😇
