I was trying some new things with Micro.blog themes and rediscovered that I had made a page that is just recent photos in the blog post category Coffee. This kind of thing is why you should have your own blog. 🙂

@manton Sorry, I read this like Toby Zeigler would have read it. @jsonbecker will relate.

@manton Looks good, but how to do this tho? I wish I could do stuff like this.

@manton I love that too. Finding something I'd mostly forgotten about in the depth of my site.

@manton I love the Photos page, my only concern is how it will behave with a very big collection considering it's a bit old-fashioned and loads the whole HTML

@aeryn I’ll write up how I did it. Should be possible to copy/paste when I share it and customize. I might be able to put it into a plug-in too.

@yurymol That’s fair. It currently only loads the most recent 100 posts and would need some work to really scale up.

@yurymol Sorry, I thought you were talking about the page I linked to. The default photos page doesn’t have that limit but could still be more efficient.

@manton yep, was talking about the default one. I like using it as a gallery (like a standalone "Instagram" page), but worry how it'll look like in a couple of years. Any reactive loading or pagination would help (I think I tried to add the latter myself but it didn't work great).
