@sod Hi, Sven. I saw just now that the SearchSpace plugin says “4198 posts and replies indexed.”, and I do have around that many posts, but I have like 21000 replies too. Do you know how this can be? (It used to be a number consistent with both).

@odd Hi there, neighbor. That's an impressive number of replies! 😅 You're probably affected by this change, which @manton rolled out recently.

@sod @odd Ah, interesting fallout from this change that I hadn't considered. I'll think about how we should change it. Also, I think if you do a View logs → Rebuild, it will jump back up to the right number and mostly stay there.

@manton @odd Ah, I see, so a rebuild will always publish all replies even for blogs with more than 10,000 replies?

@manton @odd @sod By Replies, do we mean replies by others on our blog or our replies to others? I have always thought of the latter (Account > Replies)

@sod Hejsan! Thank you very much for your answer! I feel a bit bad for using your valuable time. Yes, I guess I’m a “reply guy”! Ok, I didn’t catch this recent change… I understand that it might be necessary, but then I’ve lost a lot of replies (that wasn’t activated in my settings until today). Sometimes, replies are my best material. @manton

@pratik In this case, we mean our replies to others.

@sod Ok. That makes sense. Coz we would have no control over replies made by others, so would hate for that to slow down our blog.
