@manton @sarcassem @jarrod For sure! no post can sum up all my thoughts on this, but I think we're on similar pages. Having to go to ChatGPT to do this is silly, and the ideal solution IMO would:
1. Suggest alt text to people who need it when posting a photo
2. Provide a description to people reading a post with an image without alt text
@matt Agreed. I think #2 will be our focus to start with. Would be pretty incredible to have essentially 100% coverage for visually impaired folks, even if it’s imperfect sometimes.
