I’m hoping with the rainy weekend that’s predicted for SoCal, I can get caught up on Tinylytics for Micro.blog plugin work. We were planning to take the RV out, but who wants to sit in a small box in the rain? I’d rather sit in a bigger box with better amenities.

@vincent Hmmm. I’ve aliased my MB ActivityPub name to my Mastodon user, but I would expect you could see and respond on MB. Maybe because I’ve switched back and forth so many times, I’ve borked something? Who knows. I’m good at breaking things.

@jimmitchell it’s funny, because I unfollow the Mastodon account and then I follow the MB account… and then after a few days I seem to follow the Mastodon account again. Super weird. Might just bug Manton on this.

@vincent Hah. As mentioned before, I aliased my MB ActivityPub Fediverse username to my Mastodon username, but I'm also cross-posting my MB feed to Mastodon. There's got to be something janky in that. I think I'm going to remove the aliasing -- unless you want me to leave as is to troubleshoot.

@jimmitchell interesting, all your replies came from your MB account. No difference. When I replied to your Mastodon account (the first reply to you), did it arrive in Mastodon or MB?

@vincent Your initial reply today showed up in my MB timeline, but there have been other times a reply only showed up in my Mastodon feed.

Here's what's strange... Your "coffee" response yesterday showed in MB feed for a little while, then disappeared. But it is in my Mast timeline still.

@jimmitchell something weird going on. Let’s start with an email here and go from there to get all the details. I’ll probably involve @manton here because this is probably a bit over my head haha. Will email tomorrow and go from there.

@vincent I shot you and @manton an email on this a couple days ago. Not sure if you got it. I also un-aliased my Fediverse username, so if you refollow my MB account, it probably won’t switch anymore.

@jimmitchell @manton — funny enough, it seems to be working now that you’ve done your mentioned changes. Will investigate with Manton though. However, I’m giving it a few days to see if it reverts to your mastodon account — will put updates in the ticket though ✌️
