I recorded a very short (12 seconds!) video on YouTube showing the new toggle in Micro.blog to quickly show just photo uploads or video or audio. It appears for Micro.blog Premium subscribers because that’s where we support video hosting and podcasting.
@manton Ah! I assumed the toggle was for the timeline and got irrationally excited, but this is good too 🙃
@manton This is a really neat addition. I personally have a handful of uploads that don't fit into these categories (they're PDFs), and I wonder if you would consider adding one more toggle: a Misc. option, for files that aren't photos, videos, or audio? 📦
@adam Thanks! In my first prototype of this I had a "text files" option but it started to get crowded, so I wanted to hear feedback like this first. Non-media makes sense.
@birming We've gone a little slowly with location (for obvious privacy reasons) but planning to do more... There's been some work behind the scenes with Meridian to build a Foursquare-style location database that can be used in Micro.blog.
