I’ve said before I never want to change Micro.blog’s $5 standard hosting price. The best way to increase revenue is to get more customers and make our $10 plan valuable. But if we ever change it, I promise not to blame it on macroeconomic headwinds. Customers want clear and honest answers, not spin.

@gr36 Thank you, much appreciated! I still love the simplicity of $5. (Although admittedly it's less of a nice number for folks not using US dollars.)

@manton You're honored to put so much thought into the pricing model. And yes. Some of the reasoning (of others) about a price increase is just silly.

@manton Hi! New customer here. Just wanted to say 1) thanks for all the work you’ve put into the indie web; and 2) when signing up I almost didn’t even see that you had a $10 tier because of horizontal scrolling on my iPhone mini. FYI!

@manton as a $10 customer, I think it is a very valuable $10. Not sure where else you can get podcast and video hosting on a good service for that lower price. Even with the file size limitation it’s a great deal.

@zbrimhall Thanks! Good to know. We can improve this on small screens.

@bloftin2 Thank you! We'll likely bump the file size limit soon, too.
