With all the updates to Micro.blog that @manton pushes out (what a pace!) I am considering shutting down my own blog and hosting everything through micro.blog. There is just the issue of how to move old posts and keep existing URLs. I don’t have an idea about how to do that, yet.
@holgerfrohloff maybe this will help book.micro.blog/migration... Eventually I will just try out the import feature and figure out the rest afterwards. Moving forward is better than standing still and waiting for too long.
@holgerfrohloff Thanks! Using one of the official imports (under Posts → ... → Import) is best because Micro.blog will keep track of the original URLs and redirect them automatically. Let us know if you have any questions.
@holgerfrohloff Yes, you can set redirects under the Pages screen. Standalone pages need to be created manually, so it may be some clicking and copy/pasting if you have a lot of them.
