@manton Hope you don't mind me asking as I'm a bit new to this, so I'm a bit unsure, but am I mapping this correctly? Thanks imgur.com/a/MC9bz

@xstex What DNS registrar/service are you using to configure that? I'm not familiar with all of them, but the "www" part is definitely right. On Micro.blog, make sure to go into Account -> Edit Domains & Design -> Edit and add "www.xstex.me" to the custom domain section.
@manton 123reg. Thanks, have done this. I'm guessing it may take a little while to update? I'll get touch in touch with my registrar if not. Thank you.
@manton Glad someone asked this. My domain currently points to another hosting services' nameservers. Can I point Micro.Blog's nameserves to a sub-domain of the same domain? E.g. I want to point it to microblog.ghaatimasala.com while keeping ghaatimasala.com untouched.
@xstex It usually takes just a few seconds to update. However, in this case it does need to include the "www". I've updated it for you and it's live now. If you have any problems getting the non-www version configured at 123reg, follow up via help@micro.blog and we'll do our best to help.
@ghaatimasala Yes, absolutely. See this help page to get started and let me know if you have any questions.
@manton I saw that. But NameCheap won't let me add a subdomain (to create a CNAME) unless I revert to their BasicDNS. I'm using custom DNS to point to my blog's hosting provider. Am I missing something?
@ghaatimasala If you're pointing DNS to your hosting provider, do they have a way to add a CNAME record? If you don't mind, follow up in an email to help@micro.blog with more details and I'll try to help.
@manton Thanks. I figured it out. It was via my hosting provider and not my domain registrar. It works perfectly now :)
@manton Sorry, one more thing :) Is it possible to not display my re-mapped custom domain at the end of each post?
@ghaatimasala The extra links happen for custom domains if the feed URL is for a different domain name. I've updated your feed URL, so the links shouldn't appear anymore.
@manton can you help remove the extra link from my feed as well? 'The extra links happen for custom domains if the feed URL is for a different domain name.' I tried to fix it myself but failed.
@donovanwatts No problem, fixed now. (I need to automate this for all cases. It's not obvious how to fix manually.)
