A little post-Christmas coding, updating the Mac app to support importing .bar (blog archive) files. Probably won’t release for a few days but you can follow along in the GitHub history.
@issimonwoods Yes, that’s one of the things I wanted to improve, making it easier to migrate or restore blogs.
@manton Restoring blogs is a brilliant usecase. Backup without an option an restore wouldn't be really useful. Btw can we also fix posts in bulk offline or get rid of unnecessary uploads? Or am I thinking too far ahead? 🙂
@manton Awesome! I think being a good platform for others is a great thing to do but it makes sense for Micro.blog's own hosting to at least gain parity with such features, especially as it becomes fully featured and more stable over time.
