I’ve built a very minimal Micro.blog theme, as in there is absolutely no CSS.
I’m happy with it. But I think I’m going to try and add just enough CSS for things like spacing, sans-serif font, etc. but still go with the pure look.
@manton Yeah, I’m hoping this can be a good base theme. For people that want to start playing around with a custom design, or for those that just want a minimal design.
@gr36 @ChrisHannah You can run Hugo locally but the trick is you’ll need to manually do some of the processing Micro.blog does. I’ve wondered if the Mac app could have some kind of “theme test” environment that set up Hugo automatically.
@gr36 Yeah sure! I’ve only created one theme so far for MB, but it’s a pretty fun process so wouldn’t mind doing some more.
