@ci I think about this sometimes… Also, little known fact: you can enter the domain name for most blogs (on the web under Discover → Search) to follow them in Micro.blog.

@manton @ci I have always tought of the Mb timeline as a living-breathing RSS feed with instant feedback and conversations. Not just a mere timeline. Probably my second favorite thing.

@Gaby Same. I have always considered the timeline as a mini feed reader mostly to micro blogs but also with links to longer form blog posts. Ability to ‘comment’ on those posts here is a feature I wish traditional RSS feed readers had. @manton @ci

@pratik commenting/sharing in Google Reader was definitely part of what made it great. Seems totally doable as M.b where a comment is a reply if on an M.b post and an in-reply-to webmention on just general web.

@Gaby funny enough, I entirely read M.b from my feed reader.

@pimoore yup. I don’t feel the need to comment more than maybe once a day anyway (when not in response to existing convo that I get a push notification for)

@jsonbecker One good thing Google did and then killed it. Can never forgive.
