@i3x No, only video HTML tags are included in the timeline, and YouTube embeds should convert to a link to YouTube instead. We may change this in the future.
@i3x @manton can I host a video on my own shared hosting and then embed it with a HTML video tag with the $5/month plan?
@LukeBouch @i3x Yes, the $10 plan is just if you want us to host video (and podcasts) for you. If you stick with the $5 plan, you can embed YouTube on your blog (but it'll be a link in the timeline), embed a video file from somewhere else, or if it's short, upload an animated GIF (only from the web).
