I look forward to trying out the new Bookshelves feature for Micro.blog. Unfortunately I will have to wait; the idea of multiple accounts doesn’t work well for Safari on the iPad in general, let alone for any particular platform.

What I’ve seen so far looks great. So I’ll wait.

Context!

I use an iPad Pro and between three Micro.blog accounts can only reliably maintain signed-in status on the web for two of them. I do this for two Today I Learned accounts.

I have two options; switch accounts; or switch using a Private Window. Both options are, unfortunately, too slow and generally awkward to deal with for the speed at which I need to get things done.

(Yes I have my fingers crossed for WWDC but let’s not get carried away, eh.)

(Also, yes, I am going to post some feedback re: Micro.blog on the web and iPad specifically.)

@simonwoods I run into this problem too. Would be nice if Micro.blog on the web could support multiple user accounts without signing out and back in.

@manton I can’t imagine the complexity of that, between the browsers and then the different OS’s. Especially with regard to safety and privacy.
