Voted. I got fussed at for checking my phone to look up the details on a couple of the county propositions I couldn’t remember. 🇺🇸

@manton I snapped a pic of my voting machine and ballot (they were new) and nary a word was mentioned by anyone. I also live in Ohio.

@lukemperez It’s an old-fashioned rule, hopefully they relax it here. No one should be playing games on their phone while voting, but checking notes or taking photos seems harmless enough.

@manton that’s pretty crazy, who has every name, proposition etc committed to memory when they walk into the booth?

@manton every time I vote in Austin it makes me deeply miss mail-in voting back in WA. It was so nice to sit at the table and take the time to research each issue and person before filling in the dot.

@keeganc Mail-in is so clearly better.
